Jim (1952-2008) - drums, mass percussion, acoustic guitar. His drumming was so tasteful, people wondered why it wasn't on the menu. Another Mountlake Terrace boy, was once accused of kidnapping the ceramic pig from a notorious Mountlake Terrace police detective's front yard (he didn't do it, I was there...honest, I saw him not do it). Had a huge audio/video library of live Grateful Dead shows. Played his first gig with the Meatballs after only two rehearsals, which proves that he was really good - and that he had to be crazy to agree to such a thing. Took care of the band business, rode two Harley Davidsons (but rarely at the same time) and while riding had a close, personal relationship with bugs. (return)
